Shaken but not broken
A half-filled tea cup is sitting on my desk. The tea-bag is still in the cup and the tea should be lukid warm now. An Eddie Bauer transparent pearl-grey water bottle is right next to the tea-cup. Its cap is hanging on the side and there is some water left in it. An empty coffee disposable cup is lying in the trash can right behind my desk. Some statistics are running on my desktop screen. My fingers are cold and my hands feel the burden of my fingers. And my mind is swinging from one topic to another. You may be wondering, "What's going on with this guy? Had I not been surrounded by tea, coffee and water, most of you might think I may be high. Apparently I am not high or dry but just feeling weak and am trying all things to get better." So how did it all come down to this?
One or more of the following caused me to fall sick -
1. Change of weather (suddenly, today morning I felt quite cool - but that maybe because of the sickness)
2. Dropping off car for service and doing grocery (grocery-shopping is quite stressful, you know!)
3. Getting up earlier than regular time (in short, less sleep)
4. Eating dinner prepared with garlic paste which may have expired (food poisoning could be the culprit)
5. Light breakfast (cereal bar - but I have light breakfast a lot of times!)
6. Evil spirits (c'mon, that's soooo possible :D. In fact, demons saw the opportunity that I am giving my car for service. So I won't have the chance to go home early even if I'm sick. Damn you, you satan!). Isn't 6 considered to be some demon number? ;)
7. GOD (God is angry that I don't pray too often. Please don't punish me, God.). Isn't 7 considered a heavenly number? ;)
Whatever is the cause, I am just waiting for Patil to pick me up so that I go home and relaaxxx. I am fighting back to get back normal. I may be shaken with a few symptoms but have not broken in a fever or anything. Go Tigers! Clemson is ranked 25th now. Oh man! Not again! My mind has started switching topics again! Actually, I was listening to the Cars yesterday and they have some pretty good songs. Oh yea! I need to get my car back from the car dea ...
